Salary - $55,411.20 This position serves under the direction of the Department’s Director of Community Planning and Economic Development and directly assists the activities of the Divisional Director of Community Development. Job functions are one of leadership in the preparation and implementation of plans and strategies for promoting community and economic development through land use planning and support in policy orientation. A primary function of the position is supervision and oversight over planning and zoning functions of the department, guided by standards established by the Youngstown Redevelopment Code. Additional job duties will be more programmatic in nature and will require the ability to read and interpret HUD and/or other federal regulations and apply in developing program objectives accordingly.
