Transportation Planning Intern
GCRTA
This position will assist on a variety of Planning and Programming projects, not limited to analyzing transportation alternatives, assisting in property and real estate needs, and promotion of existing public art. This job will be a combination of field work and desk work, requiring the individual to be a self-starter. Additional duties will be assigned throughout at the discretion of the Director of Programing and Planning. The creation of a catalog of GCRTA’s Public Art collection is a potential project for this position. This project would entail a creative use of software and field identification work of art throughout the system. Additional projects include analysis of transit priority corridors, work on the RedLine Greenway project, research on autonomous vehicles and First and Last Mile Analysis along with other GCRTA projects.
