Trumbull County Planning Commission
The Trumbull County Planning Commission is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented Planner to administer the Trumbull County Subdivision Regulations, review and process plats and deeds; review and make recommendations on township zoning amendments; assist with Comprehensive Planning; ArcGIS Mapping; assist with community meeting facilitation, presentations, outreach and surveys; perform various Census-related functions.
Position reports to Executive Director. Duties include program, project and contract management; committee support; database development, maintenance and analyses; policy development; planning and plan implementation; and other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate MUST have the ability to facilitate complex meetings with diverse stakeholders; take initiative; think logically; and have excellent interpersonal, writing, public speaking and computer skills. Eligible applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Geography or a closely related field. Experience with grant writing would be considered a plus.
