Genoa Township

Genoa Township is seeking Qualification Statements from licensed attorneys and/or law firms employing such attorneys to analyze, and provide legal advice regarding, the township’s zoning strategy and approach to housing densities, both planned and permitted, within residential developments. The scope of work could potentially include reviewing, in whole or in part, Genoa Township’s current comprehensive plan, current zoning resolution, and/or pending zoning amendment(s), drafting new language for such documents, and related research. Firms should have prior experience working with Ohio townships on planning and zoning matters, writing effective, enforceable, and defendable language for comprehensive plans and/or zoning resolutions, including amendments thereof, and representing and/or defending Ohio townships in litigation pertaining to policies and decisions related to planning, zoning, and development.
