The City of Monroe is accepting written proposals from qualified firms to execute a comprehensive update to the Monroe Planning and Zoning Code, Chapter 12 of the City of Monroe Codified Ordinances.
This will be considered a major code update and will include overall modernization, address overly complex or conflicting areas, and improved ease of use. It is critical this process emphasizes public participation. Most importantly, the code and associated zoning map will need to be updated to conform to Advance Monroe 2040, the City’s Comprehensive Plan adopted in October 2021.

Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022. Late proposals will not be accepted.
