Pay Range: 45,000-58,000

Facilitates the development, implementation, and administration of community and economic development-related programs and projects, such as Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and enterprise zones; and promotes planning functions and special projects such as Revolving Loan Funds, Ohio Public Works process; housing and community development grants, and economic development education programs and tools, such as Community Reinvestment Areas (CRAs). Manages and facilitates grant programs, such as the CDBG and CHIP.

This position requires research and reporting of any community investment tools and the applicability to Wayne County and local communities. Assists in analyzing existing grant opportunities and how to implement new development tools. Assists in administration of housing grants for the County.

Researches and gathers information and data and prepares reports and maps using geographic information systems. Prepares agendas and minutes for Planning Commission and economic and community development related projects.

Handles public inquiries on Planning related issues including but not limited to floodplain and subdivision regulations questions.
