Program

Sessions at this one-day workshop are designed for local officials, planning commission and board of zoning appeals members, professional planners, attorneys, developers, architects, engineers and engaged citizens. Sessions focus on planning practice and development trends for community development professionals and citizen planners in and around Miami Valley. All sessions are pending AICP CM credit.

 

Call for Session Proposals

Workshop attendees are comprised of professional planners and architects, citizen members of planning and zoning commissions and boards of appeals, and elected officials who represent both urban and rural jurisdictions in the Dayton metropolitan area. Accordingly, we are seeking topics that appeal to a broad segment of the community.

Most sessions will run 60 minutes with a few running 75 minutes. Free workshop registration is available for up to two speakers per session. The session organizer will be required to register their own speakers when registration opens.

The deadline to submit your proposal is Monday, August 22, 2022Please submit your proposals to Susan Vincent via the proposal form below. The workshop planning committee will review all session proposals and contact each session organizer individually to them know whether their session was chosen for the workshop.
