2026 Northeast Ohio Planning & Zoning Workshop

The Lodge at Geneva-On-The-Lake

Planners and zoning professionals of Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, along with APA Cleveland will be presenting the 2026 Northeast Ohio Planning & Zoning Workshop on August 28, 2026 at the Lodge at Geneva State Park. This educational workshop was created to provide low cost opportunities for local communities to come together to learn, share ideas, and network.

Attendees will include county commissioners, township trustees, city council members, land planning and county professionals, planning and zoning commission members, board of zoning appeals members, zoning inspectors, and other citizens.

APA Cleveland invites you to submit a session proposal for the annual Northeast Ohio Planning & Zoning Workshop. Conference attendees include a broad audience of citizen and professional planners, community officials, zoning administrators, attorneys and others with an interest in planning and zoning-related topics.

Session proposals are encouraged to cover a variety of planning topics and to appeal to attendees across the diverse spectrum of planning expertise. Selected sessions will be submitted for continuing education credit approval for planners (AICP CM). A list of most requested topics can be found here.

Please send your session proposals to David Radachy at david.radachy@lakecountyohio.gov no later than May 31.

Registration opens in June

Registration includes continental breakfast and a buffet lunch.
Free parking is provided onsite.
