APA Cincinnati Adopt-A-Class

Volunteer With Us!

APA Cincinnati is kicking off its fourth year of Adopt-A-Class at the Academy of World Languages.  Adopt-A-Class is where companies and professional organizations adopt a grade school class for the school year.  We meet with the class monthly for about 45 minutes and do activities that introduce the students to the urban planning profession.  We are looking to assemble a team of about 8-10 planners for this school year. 

Our first meeting with the class will be Monday, October 19th and we will meet with the class one Monday per month from 8:10-9:00.  You don’t need to be at every class meeting to be part of the team and no experience is necessary.  Having participated the past three years, it is very rewarding to connect with the students and be able to share our profession with them.
